How Long Does it *Really* Take to Build a Pool in Boca?
You’ve heard the horror stories. A guy signs a contract, digs a hole, and then disappears for three months to work on another job.
We hate those guys too. They give our industry a bad name.
When you hire Epic Watershapes for pool construction in Boca Raton, we give you a real schedule. Here is the typical breakdown (about 10-12 weeks total):
Month 1: The Messy Part
First, we permit. The City of Boca can be slow, but we push them. Once approved, we dig. It’s loud, there’s dirt everywhere, and your yard looks like a war zone. We get the steel in and shoot the concrete (Gunite) usually within the first few weeks of breaking ground.
Month 2: The Plumbing & Stone
The concrete has to cure (dry). While that happens, we run the pipes and electric. Then the artisans arrive. These are the guys who lay the waterline tile and the stone coping around the edge. It starts looking like a pool now.
Month 3: The Deck & Water
We lay the pavers or travertine. We put up the fence. Finally, we plaster the inside and turn on the hose.
The One Thing We Can’t Control
Rain. If it rains at 2 PM everyday for a week, we can’t shoot concrete. It happens. But here is the difference: we call you. You will never wonder where we are.
